Crizaf

CRIZAF AUTOMATION SYSTEMS

Crizaf.com

Background

Crizaf was established in Saronno Italy in 1954 as a workshop concerned with the manufacture of components for the railway sector. During the early 1960's Crizaf underwent a renewal by embarking on the manufacture and marketing of material handling systems such as, for example, transpallets.

In 1974, at the request of a plastics processing company close to their premises in Turate, production of belt conveyors was begun. Model L, designed for working with molding machines was immediately accepted by the market. Its great success encouraged Crizaf to create a belt conveyor for the blow molding and silk-screen printing processes, which was designated LS.

By the end of the 1970's, Crizaf was able to offer its customers a wide range of belt conveyors designed and manufactured in keeping with the company philosophy of Ruggedness, Practicality, and Reliability. The first carousels and sprue separators were produced.

In 1978 Crizaf launched its products on the French market and started to cooperate with its current agent MARTIPLAST. In a short time, Crizaf's sales network branched out over all Europe, while in 1985 it started exporting its products in the rest of the world.

Then in 1990, after 16 years of activity, Crizaf started to design, manufacture and launch the new series of belt conveyors based on anodized aluminum structures. This innovation has boosted Crizaf roduction and has allowed them to concern themselves with more complex machinery such as storage and weighing systems.

Products

  • ASB Series: Four station stretch blow-molding machines are installed worldwide and have been in production for over 20 years. Simple, but effective fully automatic machine for the production of a wide variety of bottles in any market. With the implementation of electric servo rotation and improved hydraulics, the machine dry-cycle time is faster. With the addition of an upper component in the conditioning station, the pre-form temperature can be more accurately profiled prior to blow molding ensuring an ideal match to the container geometry. Low initial investment for the machine and mold makes it an ideal entry-level machine for PET bottle manufacture.
  • HSO Series: Two-step reheat stretch blow molding machine is dedicated to the production of high temperature hot-fillable heat resistant bottles. When combined with a PM Series perform molding machine and CM Series neck crystallization machine the result is a fully integrated production line ideally suited for the production of defect-free, cost-effective, high-temperature-resistant bottles.
  • NB Series: The highly effective and compact NB Series reheat stretch blow molding machines produce the highest quality bottles. Before stretch blowing, the overall temperature and heat profile of the preform is adjusted while being rotated. In the blow station, hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders actuate mechanical stretching and mold clamping is achieved by toggle mechanisms ideally suited to the high-speed, high-pressure operation. The blow molds are usually cooled but if required they can be heated via a conditioning medium supplied from an optional mold temperature controller enabling the production of semi-heat resistant bottles.
  • PB Series: One-step biaxial orientation stretch blow molding machines use the 'cool parison' technique, in which the preform is cooled before reheating. A state-of-the-art electronic controller with a liquid crystal color display controls container-molding conditions. Up to eight sets of complex molding conditions are easily reproduced for the stable molding of high quality products.
  • PF Series : In PF Series one-step stretch blow molding machines, the preform is partially cooled, temperature distribution equalized, reheated and blown in a cool parison system. This new concept, in which the perform molding and blow molding processes are separated, incorporates the advantages of both the one-step and two-step systems in a bottle production system. In addition to outstanding productivity and cost performance, the PF Series is also available with optional equipment to enable the production of flat oval bottles, bottles with handles and other specialty containers.
  • PM Series: PM Series prerform molding machines feature a rigid, precise clamping mechanism for high-speed stable molding and an injection unit with five speed and five pressure injection program control functions. To ensure stability in the molding of high quality performs, as many as eight sets of molding conditions can be easily stored by means of an electronic controller equipped with a liquid crystal display.
