Crizaf

CRIZAF AUTOMATION SYSTEMS

www.crizaf.com

Background

Crizaf was established in Saronno, Italy in 1954 as a workshop concerned with the manufacture of components for the railway sector. During the early 1960's Crizaf underwent a renewal by embarking on the manufacture and marketing of material handling systems such as, for example, transpallets.

In 1974, at the request of a plastics processing company close to their premises in Turate, production of belt conveyors was begun. Model L, designed for working with molding machines was immediately accepted by the market. Its great success encouraged Crizaf to create a belt conveyor for the blow molding and silk-screen printing processes, which was designated LS.

By the end of the 1970's, Crizaf was able to offer its customers a wide range of belt conveyors designed and manufactured in keeping with the company philosophy of Ruggedness, Practicality, and Reliability. The first carousels and sprue separators were produced.

In 1978 Crizaf launched its products on the French market and started to cooperate with its current agent MARTIPLAST. In a short time, Crizaf's sales network branched out over all Europe, while in 1985 it started exporting its products in the rest of the world.

Then in 1990, after 16 years of activity, Crizaf started to design, manufacture and launch the new series of belt conveyors based on anodized aluminum structures. This innovation has boosted Crizaf production and has allowed them to concern themselves with more complex machinery such as storage and weighing systems.
